This collection contains a scrapbook detailing the history of the George R. Day Post 79 in Bountiful, Utah. It includes newspaper clippings, pictures, meeting minutes, and Legion news given by Commanders and other members of the Post. It also contains a list of service men killed during World War I. The items in the scrapbook range in date from 1919-1974.

participation from 1920, and United States Navy in the World War from 1921. The book is in

poor condition and has been disbound to its individual portfolios. Included tucked into the front

cover of the book is a photograph and certificate.

War Service Cards

Abstract

This collection contains service cards for servicemen from Weber County primarily during World War I, but also some from World War II. The cards are listed alphabetically by last name. Most of the cards include information such as their home address in Weber County, their branch of service, countries served in, discharge or death dates, and next of kin. There are also fewer than two dozen cards for nurses and Forest Service personnel.
